BARNABAS SHAKUR DASHAWN HALL ANGEL BAILEYDashawn Hall, Service Coordinator (P/T). Responsible for managing the Foot Soldiers services. He was raised in Crown Heights and Brownsville communities of Brooklyn. Witnessing teen idleness consume his friends one by one he was motivated to do something positive with his time. Dashawn volunteered in PR-G’s Foot Soldiers program for two years before he became a supervisor. All of his hard work in the origination helped him Graduate out of Acorn High School for Social Justice and get into University of Bridgeport with Scholarships. Supervisor for Foot Soldiers (P/T). Responsible for overseeing the quality of our contracted Foot Soldiers Services. He was born in Brooklyn and raised in Crown Heights. As a young teen constantly bored, Angel wanted to spend his time doing something that was both positive and constructive. This lead to the opportunity of him finding PR-G. Angel worked as a Foot Soldier for 3 years. While in this program he gained skills, income and finished high school with good grades. Now Angel attends BMCC College in Manhattan, NY. DAWON CUTHIN Supervisor for Foot Soldiers (P/T). Responsible for overseeing the quality of our contracted Foot Soldiers Services. Dawon Cutchin was raised in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn. He was definitely part of the teen idle world. He was part of the Foot Soldiers program from 2008 - 2011. Dawon is a future business man and his dedication is what him to keep going. His positive attitude and ambition even at challenging times shines. As a high school senior he was in jeopardy of not graduating. He passed three regents and 16 classes while working with PR-G in order to graduate. DOMINIQUE REID Dominique Reid, Office Manager (P/T). Responsible for handling the day to day administrative and office management tasks. Dominique was raised in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn and has been with PR-G for 3 years. She first entered into our Rites of Passage program and then became an environmental steward in our Foot Soldiers program; she later became a supervisor. Dominique is now responsible for handling the day-to-day administrative task, office management tasks, payroll and petty cash. Dominique graduated from The High School of Fashion Industries in 2011 and is now a student at Lincoln University. MODESTINA BELL Modestina Bell, High School Assistant (Volunteer). Modestina is responsible for assisting our students with fulfilling their graduation requirements. She was raised in Crown Heights Brooklyn and no stranger to crime due to teenage “idleness.” She witnessed many of her once childhood friends lost to the streets either to prison or death. With this, she realized that something had to be done to make a difference within her neighborhood to save future generations from this same fate. She attended Syracuse University and majored in Psychology hoping to understand why some youths seem to be more prone to getting into trouble than others. In May of 2010 Modestina graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Child and Family Studies. Her maxim has always been to “be the change you wish to see.” KAMALESH RAO Tutor (Volunteer) WATTS CPA Accountant. Responsible for Filing tax forms, annual reviews and audits. MORGAN, LEWIS & BOCKIOUS Law Firm, Morgan Lewis & Bockious, Attorney (Pro bono). Responsible for legal matters MARTIAL ARTS USA Martial Arts Instructor, Responsible for training our students in Martial Arts. Grand Master Bill McCloud student of legendary Dr. Moses Powell. Eighty percent of the martial arts experience involves learning how to master life, time and personal affairs. FUND FOR THE CITY OF NY Fund for the City of NY, IT.
