Opportunity to Earn Funds for Teenagers

We're looking for teenagers willing to commit at least 12 hours per week. Participants are usually motivated by camaraderie, opportunity to earn income, positive experiences and the desire to create a brighter future.   • What's in it for you?

    • Receive stipend: Approximately $84 - $200 biweekly.

  • Prime Candidates are:

    • In high school between the ages of 14-19 (if not in school, must be in a GED program) - 1 point.
    • able to provide current transcript - 1 point.
    • GPA of 85 or above - 2 points.
  • Prime Candidates are:
    • in possession of a cell phone - 1 point.
    • used to using email, and have a email address - 1 point.
    • able to produce two recommendation letters (from teacher, church, other employment, etc.) - 1 point.
    • able to possess an inviting character
    • residents of Bed-Stuy - 2 points.
      Or one of the following communities:
      • Brownsville - 1 point.
      • East NY - 1 point.
      • Bushwick - 1 point.
      • Crown Heights - 1 point.
      • Flatbush - 1 point.
Applicants with the highest points, available to commit to the schedule and able to provide 10% of their revenue biweekly towards a group investment club will be selected for the program.
  • Position Summary: Foot Soldiers

    Work six hours each week in the community removing rubbish, leaves and snow from sidewalks, curbs and gutters of PR-G members' properties.

  • Duties:

    • Volunteer up to 3 days cleaning.
    • Clean outdoors:
      • Sweeping sidewalks, gutters and yards.
      • Shoveling snow.
      • Raking leaves.
      • Cleaning lots and backyards.
      • Gardening.
    • Clean indoors:
      • Cleaning restrooms.
      • Sweeping and mopping.
      • Dusting.
      • General cleaning.
      • Operating machinery.
    • Transporting supplies and equipment.
