The Description: Many of the teens we work with in our Foot Soldiers program have very little exposure outside of their “block” and to nature. They are so used to technology, noise, and speed that they tend to not see the value in environment, silence, and appreciating the atmosphere. The next trip will be July 22nd to 29th 2012. With the community's support the teens will only have to pay with their sweat. This trip is an opportunity for them to gain fund-raising, communication, and critical thinking experience before the trip. During the trip they will gain exposure to new environments and responsibilities, intense physical and positive camaraderie activities during the trip.

How can you Help the next trip?

3. We’re looking for volunteers to attend the trip with the following skill sets:
1. A licensed medical professional (i.e. nurse, doctor);
2. A physical trainer or martial artist;
3. A lifeguard (depending on our selected site);
4. A person with knowledge of multiple sports and outdoor activities; and or
5. A person that knows everything to know about camping.

• Charter Bus ($1,900 - 2,500)
• 2 Alternate Vehicles ($1,500) Charter bus will leave us at site and pick us up alternate vehicles needed on site.
  
• Lodging ($1,680 - $5,000) cost of camp site
  
• 7 Tents ($1,200 - $1400) Preferably cabins
  
• 3 Daily Meals ($5,400)
• Staff
  
• Nurse ($1,000)
• Cinematographer ($1,000) Films trip and makes a video
  
• 6 Chaperones ($2,400)
  
• 2 Fitness Instructors ($2,000)
• Workshops
• Team Building Activities
